Improved energy efficiency: ENGEL e-victory with ecodrive

The use of a new hydraulic system makes the series even more efficient.. In contrast to the standard hydraulics and asynchronous motor used previously, the new system has a fixed displacement pump and servomotor.

The benefits: The machine's speed is directly linked to the drive speed. The new servohydraulic ecodrive keeps the speed down to requirements. In other words, the drive is only active during movements, with energy consumption dropping to virtually zero when the machine is idle.

On top of this, the machine is extremely quiet, its coolant requirements are far lower, and hydraulics are on board. This helps the machines achieve similar energy savings to comparable fully electric machines. When idle - for example during the cooling time - no flushing or idling energy is consumed.  On top of this, the machine is perfectly suited for energy-saving production using moulds with hydraulic components (such as core-pulls).
